Stage 1 Developement

Well, this has something to do with the car but not really if you know what I mean. I have managed to format the netbook now and it runs so much smoother. I am going to use it to program ECU's etc. I definately need it for the traction control thats for sure, unless I replace the ECU with a Solaris system. I might need to upgrade the RAM on the thing though as it programming seems to be lagging on it...stupid little EEE PC 1000H...so tiny...hehe :) Next on the list for development: Test Car Test Engine Test Software Might need to buy a whole test car to mess around with...hmmm...

The Integra

Well I have decided to sell the Integra. I think I am sick of Hondas unless its got a F22 or a K-series...I need a better run around than something that doesn't work in the snow/ice. But first I need this car sold and I can start looking for another run around... Wonder what I should get afterwards...

Wee photoshoot

Well last year we were well bored and fancied doing something. Brian proposed to do a photoshoot of the car while I messed around with the DSLR learning settings etc. He did the proper pics while I umm...ran around the place lol... Thanks to Brian (devius87) for the pics:

Update on the 200sx

Well one thing is for sure, through the time of owning the car...I have learnt that the car is a girl...she throws hissy fits and refuses to work for me at times...breaks down every now and again to tell you that she is boss... Off the top of my head a few things broke in the time of my ownership...mainly Turbo Oil Feed Lines (Replaced with Driftworks braided lines) Brake Lines Ah well on top of that I have made a few more changes: Engine bay mods: Painted cam cover Tubular Manifold Turbo Elbow Air Intake Cooling box Thank you Brian Ho for taking the pic of the engine bay for me :) I also went on to buy these for the car: Bee*R Racing Wheels at 18' 9.5JJ and ET38 (weak offset...) Also have Apex Gen 2 Coilovers and full Apex suspension arms fitted but I do not have pictures of this yet. Side note: spotted my car on google maps :) Well that is most modifications up to date I think...I might have missed some mods which I dont remember putting on lol...

Let the modifcations begin...

After the rolling road, the modifications began. I was looking to get my car up to stage 1 and firstly needed a boost controller, I opted for the HKS EVC VI, just because it looked that good. Although I heard is was annoying to set up etc though: Then came the GP-Sports carbon fibre bonnet, slightly damaged but nothing that bothers me, though I might need to weld the damaged bits soon...does look good though...mmm carbon fibre *drools*.... As the brakes I originally had on were from a R33 GTR Skyline, the brake discs weren't in amazing shape themselves and were corroded on the inside. I set about to replace them and I did with Dixcel FCR discs: That is all for now, there are more modifications to come however :D

New Year

Happy new year to you!...and hope you had a good Christmas too...well I have been busy for a month really...not had time to update this blog. In honest truth the blog on the car is not in its current situation but I wanted to track the build process of my car. When I last left the updates, it was pretty much standard. I started to modify it :D But first...I wanted to know what it was running so off to the rolling roads: Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket I was pretty impressed myself. Although I have to admit it is pretty optimistic that figure lol...either way I was using that as a yard stick on how much I gain after I star modifying :)
