PGP Wars Episode 1

Spotted this video from the Drifted.com web site. They are running a pretty amazing website all dedicated to drifting all over the world. Check them out if you have time.

Well the video was made by David Hintze and is pretty well shot. I liked the soundtrack and thought it deserved a mention and credit for the work he put in. Pictures of his coverage can be found here.

There were some pretty awesome cars out there like :) and the track looked like awesome fun. The event looked amazing altogether and I wished I could have been there.

Came across this video via Canibeat where they attended the XDC event. Features some high quality drifting as well as amazing footage of the day :) It seems like an amazing day out and the drifting was a really high standard. Hope to see more like this soon :)

Found this video via Stance Nation. This is by Mike Nugent, who has done a really good job. Really love the footage and editing in this really well put together short video. There are some amazingly gorgeous rides in this video too :) looking forward to the next one :D

SXOC Drift Day 28/07/10

Well the SXOC organised another drift day up at Crail Raceway. Only this time it was different...instead of me spectating and taking pictures...I took part in the drift day for once :)



Rolling up and setting up the BMW it took me 1 hour and 40 mins to change all 4 wheels around to my drift wheels...I had to do it all by hand as I didnt have a drill :( Anyways I went on the oval track 4 times. I ended up in the field 4 times and twice into tyres. But wow...what a fun time it was haha...that BMW made it there and back with no problems at all :) Bashed it a few times and it still kept going. Can't say anything bad about that car at all :D

Of course some of the usual suspects were there including Trampdrift lot and Minto Fruit. All in all it was a great day and was really fun :) but in the end my skills were holding me back and I have a lot more to learn than I thought lol...time to get more seat time :D

When the car was cooling down I went out for half an hour to take some pictures:
